Just perfect Denise. The thin thread is sometimes all we see, but its strength is what keeps us attached.
Amazing how much strength there is in something that could otherwise go unnoticed, isn’t it? Thank you, Andie, for sparking some more thoughts about the importance of paying attention.
Human are so precarious that any time we tend to succumb to worlldly pleasures!
At any time humans can succumb, but grace will hold us up!
We use terms differently. For me, this image is belief. For me, faith is experienced (seen inwardly/ not seen outwardly), and thus not dangling.
Whether it is captioned “faith” or “belief,” I think we’re looking at the same message, Michael: when we feel like that twig, the thread that supports makes all the difference, right?
This is exactly how I feel some days but it’s a toss up as to whether I’m the twig or the thread.
Meredith, I suspect we all have days on both sides of the issue, if we’re being honest.
Twig symbolizes new life – when faith is weak, we’re hanging on a thread; when strong we’re hanging on the vine of TRUST.
Thanks, Chemari, for adding your interpretation. Please stop by again!
Or a lifeline of grace from God by which a person may cling to desperately and dearly, in hope.
“A lifeline of grace”—what a lovely thought!
That really is incredible! You know, sometimes it’s the simple miracles in life we take for granted. These little things really make you think about life in a different way.
Yes, Frank, if we pay attention to the little things, we can fine-tune our attitude of gratitude and not take things for granted. Thank you for stopping by!
