sunset at Reloncavi Estuary in Chile

“The photo is a view of the sunset looking across the Reloncavi Estuary in southern Chile. The glow from the sun, the clouds, the blue sky, and the outlines of the distant hills and nearby trees seemed to capture for me the power and beauty of God’s creation in all its glory.”

Submitted by Cliff Kirchmer.

Today we celebrate the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

I agree with the words attached to the picture. To me it is also focusing on the not too distant future: one filled with the Light of Hope and Promise of Eternity.

Hiking up to nearby hills gave a chance to have a bird eye view of the beautiful Monastery.
