This photo is bringing me happy memories of the day it snowed where I live last August (when we have winter). I have lived here for 25 years and had never seen snow. As you can imagine, with such an unexpected thing, everyone was outside singing and dancing and reveling in the experience!

It sounds like a joyous experience! Being in the usually snowy Chicago in winter, I’ve never seen anyone dance over the arrival of snow.

At times our winters here in PA are snowy from Nov. – Mar. or April. To get anywhere from my house we have to drive downhill and then uphill. There is an awesome section on the way down the road where I always wish I could pause and just look at the beauty of the landscape laden with snow. There is peace and calm in the world God has given us to play in while we are here.

Snow can be such a beautiful sight, when we pause to appreciate it.
