Agony in the Garden statue

“One of my favorite prayer spots at the university. Seeing Christ’s agony in the garden is a reminder that he, too, was abandoned and persecuted—comforting at times I feel abandoned and persecuted too.”

I can see how this would be a favorite prayer spot. Thanks for sharing with us!

I love how the statue seems to be tucked back in the corner of a beautifully lanscaped and manicured garden. How often do I tuck Christ in the back corners of my life, too?
