lily dying and living

“What looks like two different plants is actually one Easter lily planted in the ground. One part of the plant is dying in order for the plant to grow into a newness of life. Giving our lives to God is both dying and living at the same time.”

How true Gary: and there`s always more or less of one then the other.

By “the other” is meant physical dying and ecstasy. There is mounting evidence of witnesses describing “near death experiences”,eg. those in horrific accidents telling of not feeling any pain, floating above their “dead bodies”, seeing everything in clear brilliant beautiful colours, being drawn into a tunnel of light, embraced by Immense Love, and then finding themselves back in their bodies again!
