I have an east- facing window where I love to pray and although I can’t see the horizon, I love to wait for dawn. The solitude of sunrise is a holy time for me. This photo also reminded me that the sun is rising somewhere on the earth at every moment of the day! How this connects us all! Thank you for sharing.

On the subject of meaningful trips: I wouldn’t necessarily submit the photos, as they required a lot of work to compensate not very successfully for difficult lighting, but I do have two new posts up filled with my pictures of the striking Chapel of St. Ignatius at Seattle University, if anyone wants to take a look.

And this photo from the Negev is wonderful!

Robin, thanks for sharing your photos of the Seattle University chapel. Those Spiritual Exercises windows do provide good material for contemplation.
