Awesome picture. You have to believe in God.
We are connected to God bacause we are from God in a very literal way. Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson puts it well when he says, “We are part of this Universe, we are in this Universe, but most importantly, the Universe is in us.” One of the most important Jesuit contributions to our scientific understanding of our intimate connection to Being was from Georges Lamaitre in his seminal work on the expansion of the universe. Lemaitre’s work led to the Hubble Constant and understanding the Big Bang.
