Truly appreciate your wonderful observation. I would otherwise have thought `what a pretty flower` and passed on. But I also happen to be reading Sister Lucia of Fatma: her book `Calls`where she says the whole of nature was created to speak to us of God to reveal to us the great mystery of One God in three Persons.
She says take an orange, for example, the skin (goes back to earth), the seeds can be sown and grow into other trees and the sections we eat.So in one single orange we have three separate things with three separate purposes. So you Chris , are in very good company.

Thanks Tina. As the late Jesuit poet Gerard Manley Hopkins wrote in the opening line of his poem “God’s Grandeur”, “THE WORLD is charged with the grandeur of God.”
