“Sometimes I can only see God in the quiet, still places. This path spoke to me with its contrasting shadow and light, flowers sprinkled in with both, and calm trees standing as tall, strong witnesses.”

  1. I love images of pathways.

I wonder whether it would be possible to indicate where each of the pictures on this blog were taken? Sometimes I find that I want to go there immediately! — and I am always curious. This one, for instance, looks like northern Michigan to me, but I’m sure there are a lot of other places it might be.

    • Robin, we don’t always know where the photos are taken, as those submitting them don’t always share that detail. But I’m sure there are many lovely pathways around the world that we’d be happy to feature here on the site.

  2. This spoke to my heart! I often photograph paths while we are out hiking. Sometimes the photo is of the path I’ve just walked and sometimes it’s what is before me. God walks with us every step of the way.

    • Barbara, I like that you take photos of both the path ahead and the one behind. That says much about our journey. Please share a path photo of your own sometime so we can feature it on the site.

  3. Like your “view” of your image, Julie. I see God of the Present Moment, lighting up in detail, the here and the now; but also lighting up here and there, along the path, as glimses of hope along a future path. Thanks.
