“When sailing, we generally use ‘tell-tales’—bits of yarn attached to the headsail—to check sail trim. When the tell-tales are aligned parallel on both the windward and leeward sides of the sail, we’re ‘in the groove.’ That’s when the Inner Iggy hits me. I have found the ‘grace of the wind’ and am somehow aligned with where I SHOULD be.”
