Snow and Ice Crystals

snow and ice crystals

“I took this picture when the first snow fell. The ice crystals came overnight. This picture, in the end, turned out quite mysterious, for it looks to me like a face of a man, wearing a crown. The beauty that came so silently overnight reminded me of the Bible quote, 1 Thessalonians 5:2, ‘For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.’

Certainly God’s presence is right there…in all the beauty around us.”

  1. I do see a face and a crown of ice crystals. that do remind of a thorny one. The left side of the face, cheek, eye and forehead do look like wounds covered with blood clots. I`m glad some saw a heart, because then it is easy to remember that our wounds whether they be from poisoned words or unkind deeds, offered with love to God, will sparkle more than any precious gem or star in the sky. inn God`s Eyes.
